Join the MediaWiki Platform team at Wikimedia Foundation to design, improve, and maintain the open-source platform powering Wikipedia. Lead technical quality, mentor junior engineers, and develop shared capabilities serving hundreds of millions of users globally
Требования
- Extensive experience in backend software engineering
- Familiarity with platform or infrastructure products serving internal or external engineering teams
- Experience with databases and event streams, including schema design and query optimization
- Deep understanding of software architecture, testing methodologies, and system design
- Strong experience in observability practices: metrics, logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Familiarity with incident response and root cause analysis
- Commitment to Wikimedia Foundation's mission and values
